The Mountain Ridge Football team has worked hard throughout their past season and many have been placed on the 2021 All West Valley Preps football team. These athletes have pushed themselves far and have seen where hard work can get them.

West Valley teams are made up of the best players in the northwest valley. It’s a great honor for players to be a part of these teams. Our very own football players were highlighted on these teams.

Overall Player of The Year:

Terrance Hall, WR/KR/PR, received player of the year. He was fifth in the state for catches (80), receiving yards (1,243) and had 18 receiving touchdowns.

Team One:

LS- Tyler Wigglesworth (Senior)

WR- Terrance Hall (Junior)

OL- Alex Doost (Junior)

Team Two:

C- Alexis Sanchez (Senior) 

QB- Brendan Anderson (Junior)

S- Hayden Allen (Sophomore)

“I was very grateful to see my name on that list. It was great to see all of my hard work that I put in during the off-season and my season paid off. As for my career, I just committed to play at NAU and I’m hoping that I continue with the success that I had at Ridge” said Tyler Wigglesworth, senior and former long snapper for our school. 

We are so proud of these athletes and each one of them earned these spots on the team.
