Educators Rising’s annual book drive began Tuesday, January 17th. The book drive has been in action for about 5 years.

“We would like to bring in more than last year. We had about 3,300 books last year. This year, before our official start date, we have nearly 900. It’s a good start!” said Ms. Moya.

To participate you will bring new or lightly used books for kids through the age of 12 to your period 1 teacher. All donated books will be going to DVUSD Title One K-8 Schools. 

Books must be brought to your period 1 teacher by Friday, January 27th. Whichever period 1 class raises the most books will receive a donut party.
