College is right around the corner for many of us at Ridge. College entrance exams are one part of your college application. The college board created the SAT and ACT as a determining factor for getting in.
SAT
The SAT is a college entrance exam that tests English, reading, and mathematics. The SAT also has an optional essay portion of the test.

ACT
The ACT is a college entrance exam that tests English, reading, mathematics, and science. Mountain Ridge offers the ACT free of charge to juniors who would like to take it. The test is held on February 27th at Mountain Ridge. On this day buses will be running twice and after the test lunch will start at 11:30, and first hour classes will begin at 12:10.
