Mr. Randolph is a special teacher who loves engineering and helping students. He decided to become an engineer back in 7th grade because he really likes math and science. When he studied physics in high school, he knew it was the right choice for him. Physics showed him how things work, and he loved solving problems.
After becoming an engineer, Mr. Randolph started a family. He wanted to spend more time with his kids. He also remembered how much fun he had learning with his parents, who were both teachers. This made him think teaching could be a good new job. So, he became a teacher 12 years ago. For the last 8 years, he has taught engineering to students.
He knows many students don’t like engineering or any subject related to math since it can feel hard or boring to them. so he tries to let his students enjoy the class. In his engineering class, he always has many different kinds of fun projects, like building some cool machine or bridge and even using pasta as material to create the building. Seeing them work hard and improve makes him happy. His big goal is to get students ready for physics and college. He wants them to feel strong and prepared for the future.
Mr. Randolph gets ideas from his family. He remembers the happy times learning with his parents. This helps him make lessons fun and easy to understand.
One student in his robotics club said, “Mr. Randolph is a fun and chill teacher. In his class, always has a lot of fun projects .” This student loves how Mr. Randolph teaches his students. For example, one of the project class is build a solar panel mars car. Mr. Randolph didn’t exactly told student how to build the car, he let students brainstorm how to build the car to make the mars car run faster and more efficiently. This project helped students learn while having good time.
One of the other student in his class, Jason Chen said “Mr. Randolph always have a lot of way to let his students understand some really hard formula to a simple, easy problem, so in his class, I always can learn a lot of new knowledge.”
Mr. Randolph keeps working hard to be the best teacher he can be. He loves seeing his students grow and learn new things every day. He plans more fun projects to keep them excited about engineering. He also wants to help them become better at solving problems on their own.
He feels happy knowing he helps his students get ready for their future. His passion for engineering and teaching makes him a great teacher.
