Due to COVID-19 the walk has been canceled. 🙁

Ridge’s Best Buddies Club, along with other chapters in Arizona will be hosting a friendship walk on Saturday, March 28th, with the goal of bringing all of the Best Buddies chapters in Phoenix together, and raising money for the club.

The walk is approximately a mile long and will begin at 9:00 A.M. at Kiwanis Park. Anyone is free to participate. Instead of paying a fee, those who sign up are asked to make optional donations for the cause. 

In preparation for this fun event, Best Buddies members are actively promoting and organizing. According to vice president, Sophie Jensen, the club has been busy with getting their group together and promoting. Upon registration, walkers will be asked for a group name. The name for our school is “MRHS Best Buddies.”  Click here to register

As the Vice President, a few of Jensen’s roles include organizing events and helping to set up meetings. Jensen is very passionate about the group and the students who are apart of it. 

“I love everything about best buddies, the kids are the sweetest people I have ever met,” Jensen states. “A lot of my closest friends have come from this club.”
