7 Fun Ways to Spend Valentine’s With Your Friends

Valentine’s Day always has a lot of unnecessary stress around it. Everyone wants to have
this fairytale perfect day with the person they love. But what about the friends you love? Your
friends will be there for you no matter what the circumstance, and they should be celebrated too. So
here are some fun Galentine’s Day ideas for a day with your girls:

1. Painting- Grab some canvases, tote bags, or anything you wish and paint!! It’s stress
free, and you get to express yourself in a fun way.

2. Baking heart-shaped pizzas- I personally did this with my best friends, and it is so much
fun. Shape your favorite type of pizza into a heart, and have fun with the toppings. Food
always brings people together, and heart-shaped things are just better.

3. Picnic- Although it is still winter, a picnic at a park on a sunny day is better than any other
form of healing. Get your friends together, and make a potluck-style picnic where
everyone brings fun a Valentine’s Day-themed food. Everyone gets a share in the
experience!

4. Watching a Romcom- I don’t know a single person who would pass up an opportunity to
watch their favorite romcom, and doing it with your friends is just that much more fun. Get
blankets, snacks, and pick a movie to watch (preferably How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days)

5. Book Exchange- If you and your friends love to read, a great way to read a different book
is to do a book exchange. Everyone brings their favorite book, and they are all traded
throughout the group.

6. Self-Care Day- In the stress of school and balancing everything a person has to work
through, it is often very easy to forget to take care of yourself. Setting aside a day to fully
rest and take time to yourself with your friends is not only a great way to get closer to
your friends, but it will help with your mental load as well.

7. Skating- Going roller or ice skating is such a great way to switch up the usual hangout
with your friends. Although you may fall more than you actually skate, the laughter and
happiness with the people you love will be worth it.

Valentine’s Day is such a sweet holiday, and not having a romantic interest should never
prevent you from enjoying it. There are always ways to connect with those around you, and this
holiday is the perfect opportunity. Have a fun Valentine’s Day, and hopefully, these ideas spice up
an ordinary day.
