Ridge started off spirit week strongly with a beloved classic: camouflage day. On this day, a majority of the students and teachers seem almost unnoticeable, for they are cleverly disguised in a large variety of camouflage. Some students are more hardcore-camo than others. An example of camo-extreme is an unknown student who was fully cloaked in a forest-like disguise, with not even his face being seen. This student had few words to say, but when asked if this was favorite spirit day he replied, “Yes”. Another fellow camo lover, Miss Horton, dressed in stylish camouflage green pants, and had many marvelous things to say about the day and the overall chances it provides to be invisible. Miss Horton said, “I’m happy to be disappeared in camo today. If you’re looking for me you will have to listen for my voice because you won’t be able to see me otherwise.” Overall the spirited love for being unseen with camouflage was felt all over campus. This out-of-sight day did the start of spirit week justice.
