The biggest college signing event in our school’s history took place on Feb. 6, 2025, marking a significant milestone for both the athletes and the school community. This momentous occasion saw 13 talented athletes receive offers from various colleges, all eager to secure their skills and potential for their respective sports.

The event not only celebrated the athletes but also served as a reminder of the support from coaches, teammates, and families that helped them reach this pivotal milestone in their athletic careers. As friends and family cheered, the excitement was palpable. Each signed letter represented years of dedication, early morning practices, and countless sacrifices. For these young athletes, this was not merely the end of their high school careers, but the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunities to excel at the collegiate level. They were excited to see what the future held for them.
Aryanna Peregrino, a senior and a part of the girls soccer team, leaves behind a piece of advice for the aspiring athletes, “Start the recruiting process early… the more you delay, the harder it gets. Starting it early means you have more time to reach out and make connections.”

The significance of this event goes beyond the numbers; it is a testament to the culture of excellence cultivated at our school. Mr. Miller also adds by saying, “I created an entire presentation for student athletes and families educating them on the process and how they make themselves more marketable to colleges and universities so that they get more opportunities.” The administration and coaching staff work tirelessly to create an environment where students are encouraged to pursue their passions and dreams. With 13 athletes signing for various sports that include boys golf, cross country and softball, it is evident that the commitment to athletics at our school is stronger than ever.
The administration hopes that the aspiring athletes will look up to their peers, and learn about hard work and work ethic. They hope to see more young athletes follow the paths of their seniors, achieve their dreams and make this school proud. We look forward to watching these athletes shine on their new stages.
All the best to all the aspiring athletes!
