Semester Achievements

Over the first semester, Ridge has had some major achievements…
- Kim Rodgers was nominated for the 2019 Gatorade secondary athletic trainer award for District 7.
- Jenna Jones received the AZ Republic Academic Athlete of the Month.
- Clayton Moore, Connor Harris, Brandon Pero, and Kate Ourada won student Emmys.
- Swim and Dive placed at the DI state championships.
- Mark Faust was voted the Desert Valley Region Cross Country Coach of the Year and Tim Rosinbum was named the West Coach of the Year for girls Badminton.
- Debbie Moore was nominated for the Life Changer of the Year.
- Alexis Von Hatten started a project to raise money for a sensory room for the special needs students. Her project appeared on the news where a local business saw it and decided to donate funds to build the room.
- Band scored 3rd at the ABODA State Marching Championships, and received the highest score at a concert band assessment.
- STUGO organized the annual food drive, which we remain champions in. We donated 20,531 pounds and $4000.
- Mountain Ridge kept their A rating from the district.
